OK, My Felicity has been using this solution for about 1.5 weeks now. It's working beautifully so far!
It's called: "acne cream: vanishing formula" by SAFEWAY BRAND. I decided I would try it since I couldn't find any Oxy10.
THE ACTIVE INGREDIENT: Benzoyl peroxide 10%
Rub on a small finger onto the permanent marker. Set the doll in a window that lets in a lot of light. Keep her there. PS: undies is ok but NO CLOTHES cause the sun might fade them! Apply the acne cream on the mark every day and keep the doll in the window DAY and NIGHT. You will notice slight progress over the next few days.
After 2 weeks, you might notice that the mark is coming off really well! I don't know how long it will take yet, but all I know is its lightening up quickly! YAY! (hint*** It will probably take LESS THAN 6 months!****) WOOT~!

Please be careful with this method. I have used it tonnes of times (never on an AG though) and on some vinyls it actually changes the vinyl skin tone. I recommend washing it off and replacing it every couple of days so you can monitor what it is doing to your doll.

I would also recommend covering the cloth body of the doll. Prolonged sun exposure can not only bleach the fabric, it can weaken the fibers as well.

That's just generic OXY10. I use 99 cent store brand Oxy knockoff myself.
6 months is for certain formulations of ink, marker that's deep, or marker that has been there a while. If it's fresh ink it may come off in as little as 2 days.

I've de-inked a My Twinn head covered in permanent marker in as little as a week. If you wipe the old stuff off every evening and reapply each morning, it goes pretty fast. I've heard it goes even faster if you put Saran Wrap over the Oxy to keep it from drying out.
And I haven't had any problems with vinyl discoloration in the AG's I've Oxy'd either.
